Customized program-design work

Peer Grief Support Program Design

A hands-on co-design process that helps your organization build a peer grief support program that fits the people you want to support.

PSCP works directly with your organization to move from an idea to a fully designed program that is ready to implement. The work includes co-design, preparation and training, implementation coaching, and evaluation so the program can be refined after launch.

How the design process works

From understanding the need to a program ready to implement.

Program-design process: understand the need, co-design the program, prepare and train, implement, then evaluate and refine, with six months of implementation support.

Training is flexible. Some training may happen before the design sprint, some during it, and some after the program is designed, depending on what the organization needs.

The co-design sprint

Three focused sessions shaped by your organization.

PSCP facilitates three 2-hour co-design sessions using human-centered design strategies. The standard package is primarily virtual. In-person co-design is available for an additional fee.

Who participates in co-design

Each organization identifies a primary point of contact to coordinate the work with PSCP. The co-design process should also include meaningful representation from the people affected by the program, including leaders, staff, potential peer supporters, and people who may receive the support. The exact group will vary, but the goal is to design the program with the people who will lead it, deliver it, and experience it.

What the engagement includes

Preparation, launch support, and refinement.

Training and preparation

PSCP identifies the standard training needed for the program being designed. This may include Grief Support 101, the organizational grief learning component, RIVER, and Facilitating Groups when groups are part of the model. Training is included for the core implementation and peer-support team.

If the design reveals a need for substantial new curriculum development, repeated additional cohorts, or specialized training outside the package, PSCP will discuss that separately before adding it.

Implementation support

Once the program is designed, PSCP remains available to the implementation team for six months of coaching, problem-solving, and support as the program launches. This gives the team a place to work through early challenges, refine the model, and make adjustments based on what is happening in practice.

Evaluation and refinement

PSCP helps assess how the program is working through participant satisfaction surveys and focus groups. The findings are used to identify needed adjustments and strengthen the program after launch.

What the organization leaves with: A fully designed peer grief support program that is ready to implement, with defined roles, workflows, practical tools, an implementation plan, trained core team members, six months of implementation support, and an evaluation and refinement process.

Program-design pricing

The organization purchases the process, not seats.

OptionPrice
Standard virtual package$18,000
In-person co-design option+$3,000, plus travel expenses

No per-person price applies. The organization is purchasing the program design and implementation process.
